What is iDempiere?
iDempiere is a complete, modular open source ERP: general and cost accounting, sales, purchasing, warehouse, production, projects and workflows in a single system used from the browser. Labinf Sistemi implements it on the version localised for the Italian market, configures it around the company’s processes and supports it over time.
Does iDempiere have licence fees?
No. iDempiere is open source software with no per-user licence fees. The costs of a project cover analysis, configuration, customisation, data migration, training and support, and depend on how many areas and users are involved.
Is iDempiere suitable for manufacturing companies?
Yes. It manages bills of materials, routings, MRP, lots and locations, linked to purchasing, warehouse and management control. With IMAS 4.0 it can receive data from CNC machines and plants, for actual times and traceability without manual entry.
Can it run in the cloud or on the company’s servers?
Both are possible. iDempiere runs in the browser and can be installed on the company’s own servers or in the cloud, also managed by Labinf Sistemi together with backup, monitoring and security.
How do you move from the old business software to iDempiere?
We start by analysing the processes and data of the current system. We define what to migrate (master data, items, balances, open documents), configure iDempiere, develop the customisations needed and support users during go-live and training.
